Lakefront Retreat with Private Docks & Kayaks

If you’re looking for the perfect family retreat away from the hustle of downtown yet close enough for a quick trip, look no further. Lilypad offers a private, lakefront experience that will allow you to disconnect and relax!

Nestled on Damariscotta Lake, this property is situated on a secluded, quiet piece of land surrounded by beautifully clean and clear water on three sides. With two docks—one for kayaks and the other for small boats—there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy water sports such as bass fishing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and more. Children will have a great time catching frogs, and if you’re lucky, you might spot areas where turtles come to lay their eggs.

If the water isn't enough to fill your day, Lilypad has a perfect flat field for a family game of baseball, volleyball, or kickball! After all the fun, there’s plenty of room for family to gather around the outdoor firepit, complete with a cooking grate, to relax, cook, or just watch the sparks dance in the night sky.

Inside the house, the chef's kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking and baking needs, sharing an open floor plan with a spacious living and dining area that boasts magnificent views of the lake.

On the main floor, you’ll find a bathroom with a stand-up shower (no tub) and one queen bedroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms: one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed.

There is a washer and dryer in the closet on the porch.

With new floors and furniture throughout the house, we kindly ask that your furry friend stays home unless pre-approved. There are four kayaks available for use, and guests must understand the use of watercraft is at their own risk. Rocky Coast Rentals or their agents are not responsible for harm or damage from use of equipment.

If you're looking for additional water equipment, local rental options are available, many of which offer delivery—just ask us!

Come and enjoy a peaceful piece of paradise, create lasting memories, and appreciate a true Maine summer!
